Autumn: Nose

We've already had Autumn for a year. The 24th of October was the day. :D Two days later was my birthday. She is my luff, as is Brutus... Yet Audi here will always hold a special place in my heart... Always. My first puppy; I trained her to do so much, and be the amazing girl she is today. I got her when she was 4 months old, and she was in a bad way. She was stuck in a tiny yard with 3 siblings and her father, she was infested with fleas, worms, and over a pound of dirt, and she was the runt of the litter, so she was horrifically terrified. She went through a bad stage of fear-based aggression, yet with patience, she snapped out of it. It took her a mere 4 days to potty train her, and by November she knew to sit, stay, shake paws, lay down, and speak. I soon trained her with the 'Touch' Method and she soon learned to touch anything I asked her to for a treat. Now she knows to bring me water bottles, remotes, brushes, she speaks, understands syllables, and even turns the lights on for me on command. But what she gives more than anything is her whole heart. She loves to please, and she will do anything just to cuddle with me and be loved. I love this monster to death, and even though she has yet to learn to open the fridge, turn the sink on, and learn all of the other amazing tricks we're working on, she's the best, most talented and loving dog I've ever known. I pray she'll be with me for many long years, and wherever I go, she will come with me. She follows me everywhere, even if it means being a half a field away, she's always with me. I love her to death, and without her, I don't know what I would do. She my truest friend and always will be. I wuvvles you, Poopy.

Wow, it's been a while, huh?

Not all that much has happened, unfortunatly. Well, aside from the trip to Florida and the new puppy, that is. Dad and I drove from Erie, PA to Waverly, Georgia in a horrid, shakey Uhal truck. It was frightening. The fog? Bad. The shaking? Really bad. The messed up steering wheel and the sharp. vertical drops in WV? Oh my god. -.- It was awesome, though. Not the humidity. Just the picture-getting stuff. Yeah, I was suppost to go to a gator farm and a beach, but time was against Dad and I and neither of those things happened. It's horrifically sad, I must say. The flight home, however, was amazing. My first flight ever scared me to death, and the second plane we were on was fun... We flew right over my house. :o Really. But obviously, you've been able to view those pictures for a while now. OH. And I met a guy from "Animal Extractors" on the National Geographuc Channel. I forgot his name, (I'm bad with names), but I got a picture with him. I look hideous.

You should also be quite clear that the images of that pit mix puppy in my gallery are of my new pup, Brutus. He's energetic and crazy. He's cute, though. 'Nough said.

I'm also now so very much enthused with Josh Gates and the crew of Destination Truth. He's inspired me to finally get my life into gear and quite existing and actually live my life. I've decided that Mt. Kilimanjaro is my big goal, and a safari either before or after must ensue. I'm going to do it. I'm going to try and lose at least 80 lbs and get some money made to get my fat arse up to the "Roof of Africa." I have to do it. I HAVE TO. If I don't, I can't die happy, haha. o.o

Oh, and I must thank all of you who have favored and commented my pictures... I've fallen far too behind on thanking you all individually... I'm so very sorry about it, and I feel bad. I promise to upload something other than my dogs, if I can find anything that isn't dull and gloomy. :sigh: I need a better lense for my camera... I need money for that more than anything. Any help or tips on what kind I should get for a Nikon D40 would help me ALOT, and I would appreciate it deeply!

Maybe you were just afraid
Knowing you were miles away
From the place where you needed to be
And that's right here with me
